I have spent every summer of my life traveling to Northeast Minnesota. This wilderness is an escape from the suburban life that I am captive to. The lakes and woods have shaped me and so I wanted to share my experiences and knowledge with you.

I'm the 4th generation visting the area. My great grandpa spent his summers fishing for walleye on White Iron Lake in Ely, Minnesota. I grew up hearing the tails of the unbelievable 15 pound walleye grandpa caught hanging on the wall. It was my grandpa who bought a cabin on Burntside Lake across from Long and Dollar Island. I spent my childhood exploring the lake and surrounding area.
From the portages of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness to the scenic wonders along the North Shore, I have experienced unforgettable journeys. The tranquility of the pristine lakes, where the peace can turn to instant excitement at the strike of a northern pike. I hope everyone can experience the waterfalls, lakes, woods, historic sites, and local flavors of Northeast Minnesota. The area promises a breath of fresh air and a tapestry of experiences that will leave you longing for more.
